The food was delicious and perfectly done. The atmosphere was comfortable and attentive staff. The best part by far was our server Anna T. She was so knowledgeable about the menu and had great recommendations. She made us laugh and played along with our jokes. Thank you Anna!!
Arancini was crispy in the outside with creamy arborio rice. Was deciding between the hanger steak and the pork chop and the server, who was knowledgeable and friendly, recommended the pork chop, as the best pork chop I’ll ever have. It was a great pork chop, super juicy due to overnight brine and cooked perfect to medium. The sides were great as well, pickled onions, roasted whole garlic bulb that can be used as a spread on the pork chop.
We had a really great dining experience. I got the seafood boil, and my husband had the grouper with blueberry sauce and jasmine rice. Everything was super tasty and nicely prepared. The seafood boil was full of flavor and really satisfying, and the grouper had a fun, well-balanced mix of flavors. We really enjoyed our meal and would definitely come back. Our server, Anna, was also really nice and gave us great service.
The food was divine, though in my personal preference a dash more salt would make it perfect. Elaine who I presume is a manager, was delightful and attentive. Just the same, Michael our waiter was a delight. The portion of their fried chicken dish served, with leftovers, me and my friend. Furthermore the feta dip was a fresh bright highlight of the meal. The pita chips were so good we had to order more. Special thanks to Elaine for double checking and finding us a non-alchoholic alternative. 10/10 experience.
EARTHDATE 20260706: I traveled from South Carolina to visit my son, who lives near K'zoo. Visiting Brick and Brine was a last minute decision and a good one. The seating (outside) was perfect. The food selections were great. The waitress (Ella D.) Was phenomenal! She exhibited an extraordinary display to get to know her customers and provide exceptional service. Topping everything, she keyed in on an offhanded statement that I was visiting my son for his birthday, and she brought him an unexpected birthday dessert. Also,the manager checked with everyone to make sure they were satisfied. I LOVED this experience. Thank you.
WOW!! I had the most wonderful experience at Brick and Brine this evening. I am in town for work and stopped in for dinner. Christina at the host stand greeted me before I made my way to the bar. She was such a gem. I was served by all of the bartenders but Steve and Ella were wonderful. All of the staff is truly amazing. I have not had exceptional service like this in a long time. The food was DELICIOUS. I had the house salad and the shrimp and mussel pasta. 20/10. The salad was so fresh and the pasta was obviously made in house. I am hoping to return soon.

Brick and Brine is a wonderful place for all occasions be it your birthday, anniversary, celebrating a milestone or accomplishment Brick and Brine has your back. Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Atmosphere: lots of light during the day and as evening hits its becomes a moody/cozy/classy feel. Service seemed very well on top of everything and worked in sync. Food was simply amazing. Flavorful and satisfactory.
Had a fantastic experience at Brick + Brine tonight. I sat at the bar and was genuinely impressed by the entire team. There were 3–4 bartenders working and every single one of them helped take care of me throughout the evening. The service was seamless, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. The drinks were excellent, the bartenders were extremely knowledgeable about both the cocktail menu and food pairings, and the overall atmosphere was top notch. The food was outstanding as well — everything from the Caesar salad to the pasta was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. You can tell the staff takes pride in what they do, and it absolutely shows in the customer experience. Overall, a wonderful night and a place I’ll definitely be back to.
Upscale dining in Kalamazoo. The drinks were creative and delicious. We got the Garden Arancini and Beef Tartare for starters, both were amazing. I ordered the filet, medium rare and it melted in my mouth. I added the ash butter which was a nice touch. For dessert I got the Limoncello and Raspberry Ice Cream Torte. It was so refreshing, bright and delicious. I will definitely be coming back.
